West Ham sign defender Riesen on three-year deal

West Ham United signed defender Nadine Riesen on a three-year contract on July 1, 2024, following her departure from Eintracht Frankfurt. Riesen, who has 15 caps for the Swiss national team, joins West Ham on a free transfer. She previously played for FC Basel and was part of the Eintracht Frankfurt squad that reached the Frauen-Bundesliga playoffs in the 2023-2024 season. The 24-year-old Swiss international is West Ham's third signing of the summer transfer window, following the arrivals of Shelina Zadorsky and Emma Snerle.
