West Duchovny has joined the cast of AMC's forthcoming NASCAR drama series, 'Thunder Road.' The series hails from writer John Fusco, known for his work on 'Halt and Catch Fire' and 'Marco Polo.' Duchovny's previous acting credits include 'The Five-Star Weekend' and the Netflix series 'Painkiller.'

'Thunder Road' is described as a multi-generational saga centered on the fictional Whitlock family and their deep-rooted legacy in stock car racing. The series aims to explore the complexities of this family's involvement in the sport across different eras.

Previously announced cast members for 'Thunder Road' include veteran actor Dennis Quaid, known for films like 'The Rookie' and 'The Day After Tomorrow.' Also joining the ensemble are Chase Stokes, who gained recognition for his role in Netflix's 'Outer Banks,' and Michael Rooker, a familiar face from 'The Walking Dead' and Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy' franchise.
