Webtoon Productions, France’s OuiDo! Set Animation Series Adaptation of Webtoon Smash ‘Lumine’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Webtoon Productions and OuiDo! Productions announced an animated series adaptation of the webcomic "Lumine" on March 18, 2024. The popular webcomic has garnered over 550 million views on the Webtoon platform. Webtoon Productions, the U.S.-based studio and IP business of Webtoon Entertainment, is partnering with the French animation studio OuiDo! Productions for the development of this project. The "Lumine" webcomic, created by Emma (Gyeong-ju), follows the story of a young werewolf named Lumine who seeks to find his place in a world where humans and supernatural beings coexist, often facing prejudice and danger. The series aims to bring the beloved characters and their compelling narrative to a new audience through animation. This collaboration marks a significant step in expanding Webtoon's intellectual property into different media formats, leveraging the global reach and success of its digital comics.
