He is also producing the project with LuckyChap, a production company co-founded by Tom Ackerley. The prequel is set in the 1960s and will explore the origins of the "Ocean's" franchise. Warner Bros. is backing the production, aiming to revive the popular heist film series. The original "Ocean's Eleven" was released in 2001, starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt, and was a commercial success, spawning two sequels.
