US Military Strikes Iranian Tankers After Warship Attacks

The U.S. military's statement detailed that two of the targeted Iranian oil carriers were "permanently disabled," while a third, unladen tanker, was destroyed. Earlier reports from Iranian state television indicated that four U.S. missiles had struck a tanker approximately six miles (10 kilometers) off the coast of Kharg Island, a critical terminal for Iran's oil exports.
