Byers highlighted the Date Grid and Price Graph as key features for flexible travelers.

The Date Grid allows users to see how minor adjustments to departure or return dates, such as shifting a departure from Friday to Thursday, can impact ticket prices. This visual tool helps identify cheaper days to fly without extensive manual searching. Complementing the Date Grid is the Price Graph, which illustrates how airfares fluctuate over several months for a trip of a specified duration. Both features are accessible directly from the Google Flights results page, located below the "View Price History" bar.

Byers emphasized that many users treat Google Flights like a standard flight aggregator, inputting fixed dates and destinations.
