This six-part production represents the first modern, English-language television adaptation of Agatha Christie’s enduring "Tommy & Tuppence" stories, transplanting the beloved characters into the 21st century. The series is set against the backdrop of present-day London, a significant evolution from the original narratives which were penned and published across several decades, from 1922 to 1973.

Josh Dylan, an actor previously recognized for his roles in the historical drama "Buccaneers" and the musical film "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again," takes on the role of Tommy Beresford. He is portrayed as a charming, adventurous, and perhaps somewhat restless young man. Opposite him, Antonia Thomas, known for her prominent roles in the medical drama "The Good Doctor" and Steve McQueen's acclaimed anthology series "Small Axe," embodies Prudence "Tuppence" Cowley. Tuppence is depicted as a spirited, intelligent, and equally adventurous young woman.
