Porsche Celebrates 75 Years of Motorsport at Amundi Evian Championship

Porsche, the Automotive and Mobility Partner for the third consecutive year, hosted a series of special activations for VIP guests at the Amundi Evian Championship. The event celebrated 75 years of Porsche Motorsport, featuring showcases of its latest automotive models, including the new Formula E Porsche 975 RSE race car, at the tournament site overlooking Lake Geneva.

Attendees had the opportunity to participate in exclusive test drives of Porsche vehicles around the Evian landscape. Golf professionals and amateurs alike were invited to a hole-in-one competition with a chance to win a Porsche Cayenne Turbo Electric. Additionally, 100 international Porsche customers were treated to a curated program of experiences, including a road trip in the new Cayenne Turbo Electric to Esery golf club and attendance at a John Legend concert at the Montreux Jazz Festival, which Porsche also supported.

The tournament saw South Korean golfer Haeran Ryu compete against Canadian player Brooke Henderson. Ryu ultimately won the championship with a birdie on the first extra hole, marking her second consecutive major win and achieving the lowest score ever recorded by a professional woman golfer. Spectators watched the final moments from Porsche's Sky Lounge near the 18th green.

Deniz Keskin, Porsche's Director of Brand Management and Partnerships, expressed satisfaction with the event, noting the enthusiastic reception from customers and VIP guests to the Porsche experience, including test drives and interactions with the all-electric Cayenne. Keskin highlighted the event's success in conveying the brand's appeal.
