Samsung SmartTag3 Supports iOS, Features Smaller Size and Longer Battery Life

Samsung has launched its latest item tracker, the SmartTag3, introducing significant upgrades including compatibility with Apple's iOS operating system. This marks a notable shift for Samsung's SmartTag line, which previously operated exclusively within the Android ecosystem via Samsung's SmartThings Find network. The new SmartTag3's support for iOS devices broadens its appeal to a wider consumer base, allowing iPhone users to leverage its tracking capabilities. This expansion into the iOS market positions Samsung to compete more directly with Apple's own AirTag product.

Beyond its cross-platform compatibility, the SmartTag3 boasts a redesigned form factor that is notably smaller than its predecessors. This reduction in size is intended to make the tracker more discreet and versatile for attaching to a wider array of personal items, such as keys, wallets, bags, and even pet collars.
