Mizuno released the Wave Prophecy 13.2 in its “Tokyo Sunset” colorway this week, presenting a street-focused iteration of the brand's performance running shoe for the Fall/Winter 2026 season. This updated model retains the original Wave Prophecy 13's distinctive sculptural sole unit while reimagining the upper for enhanced everyday wearability. The shoe features Mizuno's full-length Infinity Wave sole, designed to provide a balance of cushioning, durability, and stability. Complementing this is a U4ic midsole for lightweight cushioning and a softer U4icX sponge for additional comfort. The outsole is constructed from X10 carbon rubber, ensuring durability. The upper is crafted from synthetic fiber and artificial leather, with refined heel and tongue detailing and updated branding to offer a more elevated aesthetic. Reflective materials are integrated for improved visibility in low-light conditions, and the shoe includes a removable cup insole within a 2E width fitting. Sustainability is a key aspect of the Wave Prophecy 13.2's construction, with the upper lining and insole textiles made from over 90 percent recycled materials.
