Russia's Shadow State: Moscow's Deepening Grip on Occupied Ukraine

Russian occupation authorities are engaged in a comprehensive and systematic effort to solidify their control over Ukrainian territories, with the explicit aim of making their reintegration into Ukraine practically unrecoverable. This strategy involves the deliberate establishment of parallel administrative, legal, and economic structures that closely mirror those of the Russian Federation.
