Czinger 21C Hypercar Features 1,250 HP Hybrid V8

The Czinger 21C hypercar features a hybrid powertrain delivering 1,250 horsepower and 691 lb-ft of torque. At its core is a bespoke 2.88-liter twin-turbocharged flat-plane crank V8 engine capable of reaching 11,000 rpm. This internal combustion engine is augmented by a three-motor electric system, with one motor powering each front wheel and a third acting as a starter-generator. The vehicle utilizes a seven-speed automated manual transaxle for gear changes, selected for its low mass and high torque tolerance.

With a curb weight under 3,700 lbs (1,678 kg), the Czinger 21C Vmax variant accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 1.92 seconds. It completes the quarter mile in 8.6 seconds and achieves a maximum speed of 253 mph (378 km/h). The road course-focused 21C High Downforce model recently set lap records at five California racetracks during a 1,000-mile road trip, showcasing its track performance capabilities. The car's construction prominently features a carbon-fiber body.
