The Brothers Garcia and The Garcias Stream on Tubi

The family sitcoms "The Brothers Garcia" and its sequel "The Garcias" have found a new streaming home on Tubi. New Cadence Productions, the owner of both series, has finalized an agreement with Fox's free streaming service to host all available episodes. This deal brings together the original Nickelodeon series, which aired in the early 2000s, and the HBO Max sequel series that concluded after a single season in 2022. The original "The Brothers Garcia" ran for four seasons on Nickelodeon from 2000 to 2004, chronicling the lives of the Mexican-American Garcia family in Southern California. The series was notable for being the first English-language sitcom to have an all-Latinx main cast. It focused on the experiences of the three Garcia brothers, Larry, George, and Carlos, and their parents, Ray and Sonia. The show explored themes of family, culture, and growing up, resonating with a diverse audience. Following the original series' success, "The Garcias" premiered on HBO Max in July 2022. This sequel series picked up with the Garcia family years later, featuring the original cast members reprising their roles. The new show centered on the adult Garcia siblings and their own families, continuing the narrative of their interconnected lives and the enduring bonds of family. "The Garcias" ran for one season on HBO Max before its discontinuation. The move to Tubi signifies a significant opportunity for both new and existing fans to access the complete saga of the Garcia family. Tubi, a free ad-supported streaming television service owned by Fox Corporation, offers a vast library of content, and the addition of these beloved sitcoms is expected to attract viewers interested in family-friendly programming and nostalgic television. The availability of both series on a single platform allows for a comprehensive viewing experience, enabling audiences to trace the evolution of the characters and their relationships across two decades. This consolidation on Tubi provides a convenient and accessible way for viewers to enjoy the humor, heart, and cultural representation that defined "The Brothers Garcia" and "The Garcias."
