Brain Dead and Adidas Release New Bowling Shoe

For Fall 2026, the collaborative partnership between Brain Dead and Adidas has introduced a striking update to their 1978-inspired bowling shoe, now featuring bold leopard and faux snakeskin prints. These non-gameplay sneakers, retailing at $250 USD, maintain classic branding elements, incorporate contrasting details, and are distinguished by their elevated heels. This latest footwear release signifies a continued evolution of the collaboration between Brain Dead and Adidas, focusing on the Bowling silhouette that was initially introduced in 2024. The streamlined leather shoe has been reimagined with a more pronounced and adventurous aesthetic for the Fall 2026 season, presented in two distinct animal prints. Drawing inspiration from an original Adidas design dating back to 1978, the bowling shoe now boasts a leopard fur-style upper and a faux snakeskin upper, marking a departure from the more subdued all-black and black-and-white versions previously offered by the brands. Consistent with the original model's design, the rest of the shoe incorporates classic details, including gold debossing on the lateral side and white, serrated three stripes visible on both sides. A visual contrast to the prominent animal prints is provided by a black tongue, toe box panel, and heel tab, which is embroidered with the distinctive Brain Dead emblem. Unlike conventional sneakers, the rubber soles of these shoes feature an elevated heel, directly modeled after traditional bowling shoes. However, Brain Dead has explicitly stated that these footwear items are not intended for actual bowling gameplay. The Fall/Winter 2026 season has notably embraced animal prints, with leopard patterns, in particular, appearing in recent footwear releases such as the Nike Air Force 1 Low "Leopard" and the PUMA GOLF x Saturdays NYC Clyde.
