Telo's Tiny Electric Truck Moves Closer To Reality With An Important New Partner

Telo announced a manufacturing partnership with Magna International on March 11, 2024, to produce the body structure for its compact electric pickup truck. This collaboration marks a significant step towards bringing the Telo electric truck to market, addressing a key component of its production. Magna International, a global automotive supplier, will leverage its expertise in vehicle manufacturing to produce the truck's chassis and body-in-white. Telo aims to deliver its first vehicles to customers in 2025, with pre-orders having opened in January 2024. The company has stated that the Telo truck will be priced under $50,000, positioning it as an accessible option in the electric vehicle market. The truck is designed for urban environments and everyday use, featuring a compact footprint and a focus on practicality. Telo has previously secured $7 million in seed funding, with participation from investors such as Marc Benioff and the venture capital firm Khosla Ventures.
