Telo confirms 400 kW sustained charging for its tiny electric truck

Telo confirmed that its MT1 electric truck will achieve a sustained charging rate of 400 kW on March 12, 2024. This charging speed is comparable to that offered by luxury electric vehicles that are priced significantly higher, often two to three times the cost of the Telo MT1. The company also disclosed the implementation of a novel dual 800V/400V split-pack battery architecture. This innovative design is engineered to optimize charging performance across a wide spectrum of fast charging stations, ensuring compatibility and efficiency not only with the newest high-voltage infrastructure but also with existing 400V charging systems. The MT1 is a compact electric pickup truck designed for urban utility and light commercial use, aiming to provide a cost-effective and efficient electric hauling solution.
