Subaru’s new top-selling EV delivers over 300 miles of range for just $35,000

Subaru launched the 2027 Uncharted EV with a starting price of $35,000, making it the brand's most affordable and top-selling electric vehicle in the United States. This new model offers an EPA-estimated range exceeding 300 miles on a single charge. The Uncharted is built on a new dedicated EV platform, and Subaru aims to position it as a competitive option in the growing electric SUV market. The company has not yet released specific details on charging speeds or battery capacity, but confirmed that the vehicle will support DC fast charging. Subaru anticipates the Uncharted will significantly contribute to its overall EV sales targets for the next fiscal year. Production is slated to begin in late 2026 at Subaru's Indiana assembly plant, with deliveries expected to commence in early 2027.
