Fareri Vintage Showcases Soccer Kits at Depop Clubhouse

Kevin Fareri, a Depop seller known for Fareri’s Vintage, has curated a special selection of vintage soccer kits for display at the Hypebeast Cup’s Depop Clubhouse. This activation features a different seller’s curated soccer-inspired garments each week during the pop-up’s duration. Fareri, who has a lifelong passion for soccer and began thrifting in adulthood, expressed his love for wearing pieces that represent his interests. He highlighted that his sourcing process is guided by bright colors and nostalgia, often selecting items from teams he watched growing up.

The collection at the Depop Clubhouse includes jerseys, t-shirts, and sweaters from various eras of football. Fareri aims to encourage visitors to look beyond the aesthetics and delve into the history behind each piece, urging them to research who wore the jersey and why. He believes this deeper understanding enhances appreciation for the garments. The installation is located immediately upon entering the Hypebeast Cup at 430 West Broadway in New York City.

Among the standout items Fareri pointed out are a rare Umbro yellow Scotland T-shirt and a turquoise, printed Adidas Germany jersey. The Hypebeast Cup pop-up is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The venue will be closed on the Fourth of July. The activation provides a physical space for Fareri’s online vintage shop, spotlighting his dedication to sourcing unique soccer apparel.
