Stone Island Launches DENIM RESEARCH Fall/Winter 2026-27

Stone Island has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026-27 collection for its experimental DENIM RESEARCH project, marking a significant evolution since its relaunch for the Fall/Winter 2025 season. This initiative aims to apply Stone Island's renowned fabric innovation and technical expertise to the traditional denim category, reimagining classic styles with advanced treatments and washes.

The Fall/Winter 2026-27 DENIM RESEARCH collection introduces four distinct seasonal washes: medium blue, light blue, gray, and black. These washes are complemented by new treatments that underscore the brand's commitment to innovation. Among these are the laser-based dusty finish, Laser Pigment, and the meticulously hand-finished Corroded Reflective and Hand Sprayed Reflective techniques. These processes are designed to create unique textures and visual effects on the denim.

The core offerings of the collection have been expanded beyond traditional trucker jackets. New additions include fatigue shirts and brushed indigo chambray shirts, providing a broader range of silhouettes for consumers. These pieces integrate the brand's signature aesthetic with functional design elements.

As part of the "Community as a Form of Research" campaign, rapper Skepta is featured wearing the 4100002 HAND SPRAYED REFLECTIVE LIGHT BULL DENIM - TC JACKET. This jacket is constructed from 13-ounce denim, which undergoes a garment-dyeing process, followed by lamination with a highly reflective film. A subsequent hand-spraying technique ensures that each jacket possesses entirely unique shading. The outerwear is further enhanced with a detachable RDS-certified down vest, attached via Stone Island's signature Dutch rope system.

Actor Stephen Graham is seen in the 4100006 LASER PIGMENT INDIGO DENIM PANTS. These pants are made from 13.5-ounce twill denim, woven with indigo-dyed yarn. The denim is then subjected to a laser treatment to achieve a distinctively dusty and weathered appearance.
