Spain's new Rafa eyes Queen's run in year of firsts

Rafael Jodar made his professional debut on January 15, 2024, marking a significant start to his career. The Spanish teenager secured his first ATP Challenger Tour title in April 2024, defeating world number 136, Oriol Roca Batalla, in the final. Jodar continued his impressive run by reaching the main draw of Roland Garros in May 2024, his first Grand Slam appearance. He is scheduled to make his debut at the Queen's Club Championships in London in June 2024, a prestigious ATP 500 event. This tournament will be his first grass-court event at the ATP level. Jodar's rapid ascent has seen him climb over 600 ranking spots in the past year, reaching a career-high of world number 136.
