Slawn Artfully Reimagines Ronaldinho Jerseys and Nike R10 Boots

British-Nigerian artist Slawn has transformed 10 Ronaldinho x Ravenna jerseys and two pairs of Nike R10 boots into one-of-one artworks. The SLAWN Limited Edition Capsule, created in Slawn’s London studio, features 10 jerseys individually reworked with Slawn’s signature painted figures and expressive markings. Each shirt is unique and co-signed by both Slawn and the football icon Ronaldinho. The collaboration also includes two customized pairs of Nike R10 boots, with one pair specifically designed for Ronaldinho’s return to the pitch, turning his signature footwear into a collectible art piece.

This artistic endeavor is part of the broader Ronaldinho x Ravenna by Cipriani cultural initiative, connected to the Italian football club Ravenna FC. Led by club president Ignazio Cipriani, the project aims to position football as a nexus for sport, art, design, heritage, and hospitality. One of the transformed jerseys will be exhibited at Casa Cipriani New York in the week preceding the World Cup final. This display will feature a physical and digital installation, enabling visitors to scan a QR code to learn about the capsule’s creation and access its auction details.

The artworks, comprising the jerseys and boots, will be auctioned through MatchWornShirt. A portion of the proceeds generated from the auction will be donated to Street Soccer USA, an organization dedicated to building soccer facilities and implementing youth programs in underserved communities. Slawn expressed that "Football is one of the most universal forms of contemporary culture," emphasizing its ability to transcend boundaries and exist in various settings, from stadiums to galleries and streets.
