Hassan Hajjaj Showcases London's New Creative Class

Moroccan-British artist Hassan Hajjaj is set to open his exhibition "My London Rockstars, End to Estates" at Sotheby's Story Café in London on July 13, running through August 7. This exhibition is described as a personal tribute to the new generation of London creatives. The show will feature Hajjaj's signature "My Rockstars" mixed-media series, which captures individuals against vibrant, patterned backdrops and outfits, often framed by stacks of canned goods. For this iteration, Hajjaj has focused his lens on breakout stars and emerging talents within London's art and music scene. Featured artists and personalities include Slawn, the Motherlan crew, Clint419, Central Cee, Walid Labri, and Joy Crookes. Hajjaj expressed his pride in showcasing this "new creative energy in London," drawing parallels to his own early experiences in the city. The exhibition extends beyond the displayed artworks, transforming the entire café space into an immersive installation inspired by Hajjaj's renowned tea rooms in Marrakech, Paris, and Miami.
