San Francisco Police Recover Wreckage, Identify Second Victim

San Francisco police discovered the wreckage of a boat that sank in the San Francisco Bay this week, following the recovery of a second victim's body. The medical examiner identified the body as Tondra Madruga, 58, also known as Tondra Miller. Madruga was among three individuals reported missing after the 49ft (15m) cabin cruiser, named Volare, capsized on Wednesday afternoon. The vessel was carrying 20 people when it was struck by a wave and overturned. The group had gathered on the boat to scatter the ashes of a loved one. Authorities are continuing their search for the two remaining missing individuals. The incident occurred on Wednesday, with the wreckage being found on Friday and the body identified on Thursday.
