Salehe Bembury x PUMA Launch the “TRAVEL WEAR” Collection Ahead of World Cup

PUMA and Salehe Bembury launched a "TRAVEL WEAR" collection on May 20, 2024, designed for the 2026 World Cup. This collaboration introduces bespoke apparel and goalkeeper kits for 11 national teams, including Portugal, Morocco, Ghana, and Senegal. The collection reimagines classic athletic silhouettes with a culture-driven visual narrative, featuring items like a new KING tracksuit, customized jerseys, graphic tees, and performance shorts. Salehe Bembury developed unique visual codes for each team, drawing inspiration from their geographical landscapes, biological narratives, and architectural legacies. A key footwear component of the collection is the Velum 1 Akita sneaker, which incorporates PUMA's NITROFOAM™ cushioning and a UV-reactive finish that changes color in sunlight.
