Actor Richard Gere and his wife, Alejandra Gere, are embracing a trans-Atlantic lifestyle, splitting their time between Spain and the United States approximately two years after announcing their relocation to Spain. The couple, who initially planned to move to Alejandra's native Spain, revealed in December 2025 that their move was not intended to be permanent, with plans to spend significant time in America, particularly during the summer.

Gere, 76, had explained in April 2024 that the move was motivated by a desire for his wife, 43, and their two children to spend more time with her family in Spain. However, the family has maintained a presence in the U.S., as evidenced by their recent Fourth of July celebrations.
