Razer Launches Pokémon Espeon & Umbreon Gaming Gear

Razer and The Pokémon Company International have launched the Espeon and Umbreon Collection, a four-piece gaming peripheral lineup inspired by the light and dark duality of the Pokémon Espeon and Umbreon. This collection commemorates Pokémon's 30th anniversary and offers a complete desk setup, including a headset, keyboard, mouse, and mouse mat, all featuring Razer Chroma RGB lighting and Pokémon-themed designs. The collection is now available in the United States, Latin America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

The Espeon and Umbreon characters are evolutions of Eevee, with Espeon representing a sun-facing Psychic-type and Umbreon a nocturnal Dark-type. This day-and-night contrast, introduced with the real-time clock mechanic in Pokémon Gold and Silver in 1999, has made the pair a popular choice for fans and a fitting theme for gaming hardware designed for both daytime and nighttime use. The Razer collaboration aims to balance Espeon's radiant energy with Umbreon's enigmatic visual language across all products.

The collection includes the Razer Kraken V4 X headset in the Espeon and Umbreon Edition, featuring velvety earcup cushions and Chroma RGB lighting. Razer describes the headset's audio profile as crystal-clear and positions it as an accessible entry point into their gaming audio offerings. The Ornata V3 Tenkeyless keyboard, Cobra mouse, and Gigantus V2 mouse mat also incorporate the Espeon and Umbreon aesthetic, integrating the distinct visual elements of both Pokémon.
