Kylian Mbappé became France's joint all-time leading goalscorer on March 23, 2024, at the age of 25. Mbappé reached this milestone by scoring his 42nd goal for the French national team, equaling the record previously held by Thierry Henry. This achievement occurred during France's friendly match against Germany, which France lost 2-0.
