This image was shared by his parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, via their official Instagram account.

Following the portrait's release, the Prince and Princess of Wales also shared a video montage of Prince George enjoying various activities. The clip featured him at the beach, playing cricket, with his siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, and on a boat. The couple expressed gratitude for the birthday wishes received for their son.

The 13th birthday signifies a new chapter for Prince George, who will spend the summer with his family before commencing his studies at Eton College in September. Kensington Palace confirmed in June that Prince George will attend the prestigious boarding school, following in the footsteps of his father, Prince William. Eton College is located a short distance from the family's Windsor home and requires all students to be full-time boarders.
