Power: Origins Reveals Young Ghost and Tommy Actors

Ahead of the upcoming series finale for "Power Book III: Raising Kanan," the prequel series "Power: Origins" has unveiled its first look images. These images feature the actors who will portray younger versions of the iconic characters Ghost and Tommy. Spence Moore, known for his roles in "Creed III" and "All American," has been cast as the young Ghost. Charlie Mann, who appeared in "Primate" and "The Watchers," will take on the role of young Tommy. These actors will debut their portrayals of the characters originally brought to life by Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora, respectively.

The "Power" franchise, created by Courtney A. Kemp, has expanded significantly since its initial run. "Power Book III: Raising Kanan" serves as a prequel, exploring the early life of Kanan Stark, played by Mekai Curtis, and his mother Raquel Thomas, portrayed by Patina Miller. The series is set in the 1990s in South Jamaica, Queens, and has chronicled Kanan's journey into the drug trade under his mother's tutelage.

"Power: Origins" is expected to delve even deeper into the formative years of James St. Patrick (Ghost) and Tommy Egan, exploring the events that shaped their complex relationship and their eventual rise in the criminal underworld of New York City. The casting of Moore and Mann suggests a focus on the foundational elements of their partnership and the circumstances that forged their bond. The release of these first look images signals the production's progress and builds anticipation for the new series within the established "Power" universe.
