Porsche 911 GT3 Marks 100 Years of Nürburgring

Porsche introduced the limited-edition 911 GT3 "100 Jahre Nürburgring" to commemorate the upcoming centenary of the legendary German race circuit, the Nürburgring Nordschleife. This special model, restricted to 100 units exclusively for the German market, pays homage to the track where Porsche has rigorously tested its production vehicles for decades. The unveiling took place at the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland, highlighting the deep historic tie between the automaker and the 20.8-kilometer circuit.

The "100 Jahre Nürburgring" model features a distinctive "Green Hell" aesthetic, referencing the track's nickname. Customers can order the commemorative Porsche 911 GT3 in either White or GT Silver Metallic. Both paint options are accented by green protective film sections on the nose and rear bumper. This contrasting color treatment directly references early markings used by factory race teams to distinguish their cars on the track. The "Green Hell" theme is further emphasized with green mirror housings and matching wing endplates. The vehicle is equipped with California Gold center-lock wheels and sports historic Nürburgring emblems alongside white recovery point arrows.

Buyers have the option to customize the doors and hood with a race number ranging from 0 to 999. This race number is rendered in a typeface inspired by trackside graffiti, adding a personalized motorsport touch. The interior of the vehicle continues the motorsport motif. Upon opening the doors, illuminated sills display "Welcome to the Green Hell" in bright white lettering. A prominent green rear roll cage dominates the space behind the lightweight sports bucket seats. The driver's seat features a green backing layer visible through graduated perforations, and the headrest is embroidered with an outline of the Nürburgring track. Customers can select between a seven-speed PDK transmission or a manual transmission for the vehicle. The Nürburgring circuit, often referred to as the "Green Hell" due to its challenging nature and verdant surroundings, has been a crucial testing ground for Porsche's performance vehicles for many years.
