Pilot and 11 skydiving passengers killed in Missouri plane crash

A private plane carrying 12 people crashed near Butler, Missouri, on Sunday, resulting in the deaths of all aboard. The aircraft had departed from Butler Memorial Airport shortly before 11:30 AM. According to Bates County emergency management, the plane turned back towards the airport before it crashed near Business 49 Highway. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are expected to investigate the incident.
