Ospreys sign Australia centre Foketi

Lalakai Foketi signed with Ospreys on May 15, 2024, to join the Welsh rugby union club for the 2026-27 season. Foketi, an Australia international centre, will be the third Australian player to join the Ospreys, following Ryan Smith and Liam Wright. The signing was announced by Ospreys Rugby, a professional rugby union club based in South Wales. Foketi previously played for the Waratahs in Australia's Super Rugby Pacific competition. His move to Ospreys marks a significant addition to the team's midfield capabilities for the upcoming season. The club has not disclosed the financial terms of the contract. Foketi's international experience with the Wallabies is expected to bolster Ospreys' performance in the United Rugby Championship.
