Novo Nordisk US EVP on Wegovy’s Franchise ‘Halo Effect'

Novo Nordisk is preparing for the July 1 rollout of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) bridge program, which will affect Medicare beneficiaries' access to obesity treatments. Jamey Millar, Novo Nordisk's Executive Vice President of US Operations, stated that the company is uncertain whether patient volume for these treatments will increase immediately or gradually following the program's launch. Novo Nordisk is actively engaged in educating healthcare providers and pharmacists about patient eligibility criteria for the program.
