Child Driver Kills Nine Buddhist Monks in Thailand

The truck, a Isuzu Giga, was traveling at high speed when it veered off the road and struck the group.

Local police stated that the driver of the truck was a minor, aged 11, who was accompanied by an adult passenger who also sustained injuries. The truck was reportedly carrying goods when the accident happened. The monks were part of a religious ceremony and were walking in single file, a common practice during such events in Thailand.
