Beauty influencer Emira D’Spain, a prominent figure on Bravo's "Next Gen NYC," has offered a glimpse into her personal sanctuary: the glam room within her Manhattan apartment. D’Spain, who is 29 years old, has carved out a significant following through her engaging makeup tutorials and humorous content shared on social media platforms. Originally from Dubai and raised in Dallas, she established her residence in New York City after attending New York University. Her career trajectory has seen her ascend from an intern to the beauty director position at Paper Magazine. During this time, she concurrently managed her burgeoning online presence, posting beauty industry insights on her personal social media accounts. This dual focus on her professional role and her digital content creation led to a substantial increase in her follower count, prompting her to leave her media position to pursue content creation and modeling full-time. This career shift marked a significant milestone in 2022 when D’Spain became the first Black transgender woman to be featured as a model for Victoria's Secret. In 2025, Bravo recognized her pioneering status by casting her as the network's first full-time transgender cast member on "Next Gen NYC."
