MSI Launches $6,999 Titan 18 HX Draco Epic Laptop

MSI released the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic, a limited-edition gaming laptop priced at $6,999 USD, to celebrate its 40th anniversary. This collector's edition deviates from typical aggressive gaming aesthetics, adopting a design inspired by the Draco constellation with a five-layer silk-screen printed chassis, a custom Dragon RGB logo, and Greek lettering. A 40th-anniversary emblem is integrated into the body, signifying its limited production.

The laptop is engineered with an advanced vapor chamber cooling system that includes a dedicated PCIe Gen 5 SSD cooling pipe. This thermal management aims to prevent the processor, graphics card, and storage drives from competing for heat dissipation. The device features an 18-inch 4K UHD+ Mini LED display with a 240Hz refresh rate, VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, and full DCI-P3 color space coverage, positioning it as a high-performance desktop replacement.

Performance is powered by MSI's OverBoost architecture, delivering 270W of total power. The configuration includes an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU with 24GB of GDDR7 memory.
