Amex Platinum Cardholders Can Maximize July Statement Credits

American Express Platinum Card holders can maximize their benefits in July by utilizing several "use it or lose it" monthly statement credits. These credits are designed to offset the card's $895 annual fee and do not roll over to the next month, meaning any unused value is forfeited. The specific amounts are "up to" limits, reimbursing only the amount spent if it is less than the maximum.
For July, eligible cardholders can receive up to $25 in digital entertainment credits. This credit can be applied to subscriptions such as Disney+, ESPN streaming services, Hulu, Paramount+, Peacock, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and YouTube Premium or YouTube TV. Additionally, there is a monthly credit of up to $15 for Uber Cash, which can be used for Uber rides or Uber Eats orders within the U.S. An extra $20 in Uber Cash is available in December.
Furthermore, the American Express Platinum Card offers a monthly statement credit of up to $12.95 to cover the cost of a Walmart+ membership. To receive this benefit, the membership fee must be paid with the Amex Platinum card. The benefit is subject to auto-renewal, and Plus Up Benefits are not eligible. Another monthly credit available is up to $9.99 for Uber One, which fully covers the cost of an auto-renewing monthly membership.
