Monarc Tracer redefines commuter e-bikes with dual batteries, premium tech, and a 5-year warranty

Monarc launched the Tracer e-bike on May 21, 2024, entering the commuter e-bike market with a dual-battery system and a 5-year warranty. The Tracer is a Class 3 commuter e-bike that integrates premium components and technology. A key differentiator is its standard inclusion of a second battery, a feature rarely offered by competitors. The company is backed by the largest e-bike company in North America. The Tracer is equipped with a 750-watt Bafang M600 motor, capable of reaching speeds of up to 28 mph, and features a Gates Carbon Drive belt system, eliminating the need for traditional chain maintenance. It also includes integrated front and rear lights, turn signals, and a GPS tracking system for security. The e-bike boasts a total battery capacity of 1000 Wh, providing an estimated range of up to 80 miles on a single charge, with the dual-battery setup allowing for extended rides or faster recharging. The Tracer is priced at $3,999 and is available for pre-order, with initial shipments expected in August 2024.
