Nike has made an all-white version of its Mercurial Superfly 11 Elite boots available through its Nike By You customization platform. This release coincides with Kylian Mbappé, who recently signed with On, wearing a nearly identical white Superfly 11 boot during his first Real Madrid match after announcing his departure from Nike. Mbappé's transition to On signifies the end of a long-standing relationship with Nike, which began when he was eight years old in 2006. He stated on his website that he saw "opportunity to build something entirely new together" with On. Despite this, On's own football boot is not yet ready for official matches.
