Man used massage gun on his tired eyeballs. It went as well as you'd expect.

A man in his 20s presented to an eye treatment center in Edinburgh with a six-day history of increasing floaters and flashing lights in his right eye. He reported no prior eye or head injuries and no family history of eye disorders, noting only mild near-sightedness. Ophthalmologists Niamh O’Connell and Ashraf Khan discovered severe damage in both of his eyes. His right eye exhibited multiple retinal tears, widespread retinal bruising, and retinal dialysis, a condition typically associated with significant trauma. The man later disclosed to the BMJ Case Report that he had been using a massage gun on his eyeballs to relieve eye strain from prolonged screen use. His left eye showed more extensive bruising and six full-thickness retinal tears. The case highlights the dangers of applying direct mechanical force to the eyes.
