Lucid Motors began distributing its Air UX 3.0 software update on May 21, 2024, marking the most significant overhaul of the Lucid Air sedan's user experience since its launch. This update integrates the advanced interface previously showcased in the upcoming Gravity SUV, aiming to enhance the in-car digital environment for drivers. The rollout is part of software version 2.11.0, which is being delivered over-the-air to eligible Lucid Air vehicles.

Owners of Lucid Air models from the 2025 model year and newer will receive the Air UX 3.0 update completely free of charge. This includes all new vehicles produced from this point forward, ensuring they benefit from the latest interface design and functionality. This involves a mandatory $950 infotainment processor upgrade, which must be performed at a Lucid service center.
