Louis Vuitton Crafts FIFA World Cup 2026 Trophy Trunk

Louis Vuitton has unveiled the official bespoke Trophy Trunk for the FIFA World Cup 2026, continuing its tradition of crafting presentation cases for major sporting awards. The trunk was handcrafted at the Maison’s historic Asnières workshops near Paris. It is covered in the signature Monogram canvas and features a golden “V” motif, symbolizing both “Victory” and “Vuitton.”

The trunk incorporates gold-plated brass corner protectors, clasps, and a lock, referencing Louis Vuitton’s heritage trunks from the 1860s. The interior is lined with light beige leather and includes a partnership logo patch for the collaboration with FIFA. This Trophy Trunk is set to make its on-pitch debut during the final World Cup match, accompanied by Louis Vuitton Ambassadors and a FIFA legend, a ceremonial moment that has been part of the brand’s involvement since 2010.

This collaboration highlights Louis Vuitton’s dedication to excellence and prestige, reinforcing the brand's narrative that “Victory travels in Louis Vuitton.” The trunk serves to protect the FIFA World Cup trophy and represents the integration of heritage craftsmanship with the global spirit of football. In addition to the main Trophy Trunk, Louis Vuitton has also released a limited-edition collection of three iconic trunks inspired by its design.

These limited-edition trunks include the Coffret 8 Montres for watch storage, the Cotteville 16 Montres for horology, and the Malle Courrier Lozine 110. Each of these pieces is adorned with Monogram canvas and features hand-painted graphics of the FIFA World Cup Trophy. These creations can be personalized with owners’ initials, extending Louis Vuitton’s “Art of Travel” concept into the sports domain and celebrating the Maison’s savoir-faire.
