Lori Loughlin Files for Divorce From Mossimo Giannulli

Actress Lori Loughlin has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, after 28 years of marriage. The filing comes nearly one year after the couple sold their Los Angeles mansion for $12.65 million. Loughlin, 62, and Giannulli, 63, have reportedly been separated and living apart since August 31, 2025, which is listed as their date of separation. According to TMZ, Loughlin cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce. She also indicated that the couple had a prenuptial agreement in place and will negotiate spousal support at a later date.

In October of the previous year, Loughlin's representative, Elizabeth Much, informed People magazine that the couple was taking a "break" from their marriage and had been living separately for a considerable period. At that time, Much stated that there were no legal proceedings underway. The sale of their sprawling Los Angeles home occurred just one month after this announcement regarding their marital "break."

The couple's former residence, a lavish property in Hidden Hills, was initially listed in April 2024 for $17.5 million. After failing to secure a buyer at that price, the home was delisted for four months. It was subsequently relisted at a reduced price of $16.5 million, then further lowered to $14.95 million. In November, property records confirmed that an offer of $12.65 million had been accepted. Despite the final sale price, Loughlin and Giannulli still realized a substantial profit on the property, having purchased it for $9.5 million in August 2020. This purchase date coincides with the same month they were sentenced for their involvement in the Varsity Blues college admissions scandal.

The Hidden Hills property is situated on 1.57 acres within a gated community known for housing other celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, Lil Wayne, and Kevin Durant. The residence itself is described as a modern farmhouse. The divorce filing and the recent sale of their shared home mark a significant chapter for the couple, who navigated public scrutiny following the college admissions scandal.
