LOEWE Perfumes Launches Five New Fragrances Anchored by Amber Accord

LOEWE Perfumes has launched five new fragrances as part of its expanded Crafted Collection, with each scent built upon a foundational amber accord, which the house refers to as the LOEWE Accord. These new additions, each presented in 100mL flasks, are designed to offer distinct olfactory experiences while maintaining a cohesive link through this shared base note. The collection was composed by LOEWE's in-house perfumer, Nuria Cruelles, who utilized the LOEWE Accord as a common denominator to build five unique aromatic profiles. Each fragrance layers familiar perfumery notes over this resinous amber foundation, allowing them to be perceived as variations on a singular theme rather than disparate launches.

The "Field Diary" fragrance is positioned as the airiest in the lineup, opening with top notes of mandarin and blood orange. It transitions into a heart of lychee and orange blossom, with artemisia providing an aromatic counterpoint. The scent concludes with a soft trail of sandalwood and musk. "Sweet Woodland" offers a more introspective profile, resting on a base of patchouli and vanilla. Its middle notes include rose, orange blossom, mandarin, and ginger, while a subtle hint of cognac adds a touch of spicy warmth. "Rosetopia" is characterized as the most intensely floral of the five, centering on the full bloom of damask rose. This floral heart is further enhanced by supporting notes of amber, musk, grapefruit, and pink pepper, creating a rich and saturated aroma.

The remaining two fragrances, "Smoky Rain" and "Verdant Globe," lean towards cooler and greener compositions. "Smoky Rain" features bergamot and pink pepper, which LOEWE describes as drifting through a soft mist. The fragrance deepens with a warm, smoky undertone, complemented by amber, patchouli, and white musk. "Verdant Globe" begins with pistachio and bergamot notes. Its composition is held together by iris and orange blossom, expanding into a gourmand stretch of caramel and vanilla before settling on a base of cedarwood and musk. All five fragrances are presented in distinctive flasks, each topped with a tactile granite cap and finished with textures that range from glossy to powdery-dry, emphasizing the tactile and artisanal quality of the collection.
