Locarno Film Festival Announces 2026 Jury Presidents

The Locarno Film Festival announced its 2026 jury presidents this week, with Belgian filmmaker Fabrice Du Welz set to lead the Concorso Internazionale jury. Du Welz, known for his work in genre cinema, will preside over the main competition jury. He will be joined by a diverse panel of international film professionals.

Joining Du Welz on the Concorso Internazionale jury are Italian producer Marco Alessi, French actress Lolita Chammah, and Chilean actress Paulina García. These individuals bring a wealth of experience from various facets of the film industry, contributing to a well-rounded jury.

Olivier Père, who has a significant history with the festival and previously served as General Delegate of the Quinzaine des cinéastes and Artistic Director of the Locarno Film Festival, will also be part of the jury.
