Brighton Boss: Minteh Can Still Achieve Dream Move

Brighton & Hove Albion manager Fabian Hurzeler has indicated that winger Yankuba Minteh retains the potential to secure his "dream move" to another club in the future. This statement comes after Brighton's decision to reject multiple transfer offers from Liverpool for the Gambian international. Hurzeler emphasized that the current situation does not preclude Minteh from achieving his long-term career aspirations, suggesting that opportunities for such a transfer may arise again at a later stage.

Minteh, who joined Brighton from Danish club Odense Boldklub in July 2023, has yet to make a senior appearance for the Seagulls. He was immediately loaned out to Feyenoord Rotterdam for the 2023-2024 season as part of his development. During his spell in the Netherlands, Minteh made 27 appearances across all competitions for Feyenoord, scoring four goals and providing three assists. His performances in the Eredivisie and the Champions League attracted the attention of several clubs, including Liverpool, which led to the transfer bids that were ultimately turned down by Brighton.
