Levi’s and sacai Launch Third Denim Collaboration

Levi’s and Japanese fashion house sacai have announced their third collaborative capsule, presenting a 12-piece denim collection that reinterprets classic heritage designs. This new offering, guided by sacai founder Chitose Abe, focuses on combining raw and washed indigo denim to create reconstructed outerwear and tailored trousers for both men and women. The collection's central theme is the hybridization of traditional denim archetypes with sacai's signature deconstructive approach.

The core of the collaboration features four distinct silhouettes, each available in both rigid indigo and washed indigo denim. These include the Sherpa Jacket, the Blouson Jacket, the Belted Wide Pants, and the Belted Flare Pants. The Sherpa Jacket is characterized by a relaxed selvedge indigo shell, complemented by faux sherpa detailing, authentic leather pocket accents, and custom collection trims. The men's version of the Sherpa Jacket includes additional side seam pockets for enhanced functionality. The Blouson Jacket presents a sculpted form, incorporating sacai's distinctive utility sleeve pocket and elasticated cuffs. The women's iteration of the Blouson Jacket also features side seam vents.

Complementing the outerwear pieces, the trousers in the collection further exemplify sacai's deconstructive design philosophy. The Belted Wide Pants are crafted with a loose, mid-rise cut from indigo selvedge fabric. They are distinguished by specialty buttons on the belt loops and an integrated belt detail, offering a unique take on classic denim trousers. The Belted Flare Pants adopt a standard-rise, flared silhouette and are engineered with an innovative seven-pocket construction. This design layering includes welt back pockets positioned directly above traditional patch pockets, adding both visual interest and practical utility.

Each item within the Levi’s x sacai collection is designed to be versatile, functioning as a standalone statement piece or as part of a coordinated, head-to-toe denim ensemble. The collection aims to appeal to consumers seeking unique, high-quality denim that blends heritage craftsmanship with avant-garde design. The latest Levi’s x sacai collection is scheduled for an exclusive debut on September 29, 2026, at a pop-up event in Hong Kong. Following this initial launch, the collection will become available globally on September 30, 2026, allowing a wider audience to experience this distinctive fusion of two iconic brands in the fashion industry.
