Leslie Bibb and Sam Rockwell Renovate Historic Barn Retreat

Actress Leslie Bibb provided an update on the extensive gut renovation of her and longtime partner Sam Rockwell's historic upstate New York barn retreat. The couple purchased the 1750s residence more than two years ago and began a top-to-bottom restoration in 2023. Bibb shared progress on Instagram, highlighting the installation of a large swimming pool, which was prioritized to accommodate septic line planning. She also noted that porches are currently under construction.

Bibb expressed her particular fondness for the property's large red barn, which has been repainted. The renovation project, overseen by designer Shawn Henderson, is transforming the centuries-old dwelling into a dream retreat for the couple. While the residence is not yet ready for occupancy, Bibb conveyed her enthusiasm for the significant advancements made in recent months.

The couple, who have been together since 2007, are documenting the ambitious overhaul of their Hudson Valley property. The updates reveal both the glamorous additions, such as the pool, and the less glamorous but essential aspects of a major renovation, like managing utility lines. Bibb humorously described the home renovation as "going swimmingly."
