Lava has officially launched its new smartphone, the Virat Curve, integrating the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 system-on-chip (SoC). This launch positions the Virat Curve within the mid-range segment, offering a blend of performance and battery endurance. The device is powered by an octa-core CPU configuration, featuring 4 performance cores clocked at 2.85 GHz and 4 efficiency cores running at 2.0 GHz, paired with a Mali-G610 MC6 GPU for graphics processing. This chipset is designed to provide a balanced experience for everyday tasks and moderate gaming.

The Virat Curve is equipped with a substantial 6,000 mAh battery, a key feature aimed at users prioritizing long usage times between charges. The company has not yet disclosed the charging speed or technology supported by this large battery. Complementing the battery, the smartphone sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, promising smooth scrolling and a more fluid visual experience for content consumption and general navigation. The display resolution is Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels), offering sharp visuals.

In terms of memory and storage, the Lava Virat Curve comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers two storage options: 128GB and 256GB, both utilizing UFS 2.2 technology for faster data access.
