Kroger is giving away 100,000 free pints of ice cream. But you have to act fast

Kroger is distributing 100,000 free pints of its branded ice cream to celebrate the Summer Solstice. The giveaway commenced on Friday, June 19, at 12 p.m. ET, with coupons distributed on a first-come, first-served basis via the website FreeKrogerIceCream.com. To obtain a coupon, customers must visit the website, select a participating Kroger-affiliated store from a dropdown menu, and then access their digital coupon. This coupon can be redeemed for any pint of Kroger® Brand Ice Cream, including existing flavors like vanilla and chocolate, as well as three new limited-time Summer Solstice flavors: Seventh Inning Swirl, Sweet As Cherry Pie, and Banana Split Social. The coupons are redeemable at various Kroger-owned chains, including Ralphs, Fred Meyer, Fry's, and King Soopers. While the coupons are being given away today, customers have an extended period beyond the weekend to redeem them for their free pint of ice cream.
